The May 1997 Limbaugh Letter issue titled, "If I Were a Liberal" was my first front cover illustration assignment. So taken with the cover art, Rush would speak about it on air for two consecutive days.

On the first day he would exclaim, "You're going to want to get this blown up and framed, I predict!"

and on the second day he would pronounce, "It's just fabulous...you're going to want to subscribe [to the newsletter] just to see this cover!"  

  To hear Rush literally and in some ways tacitly endorse my first cover painting for the Limbaugh Letter was both a thrill and an honor all at the same time.

The provenance on this audio makes this original cover painting highly collectible and valuable!
